Americorp VISTA Summer Associates 

These service positions are temporary full time.  Applicants MUST be available June 7 - August 13.   Each VISTA worker receives a stipend to help cover living expenses.  The current stipend is $513.94/two weeks and requires the VISTA to be available Monday through Friday. VISTA summer associates will help prepare and serve lunch to area children, unload food from trucks, and will work in either the garden and learning center. With successful completion of service, VISTA summer associates are eligible for an educational award, currently $1,200, that can be applied to student loans or college tuition.  To apply, send a resume and cover letter to thejamiesoncenter@gmail.com.
